INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Casino giant Caesars Entertainment is threatening to drop plans for building a new casino in southern Indiana while arguing that it shouldn't be forced to pay a $50 million fee in the state for acquiring two horse track casinos near Indianapolis. Las Vegas-based Caesars announced in November that it would pay $1.7 billion to buy Centaur Gaming, which owns Hoosier Park, a. Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles offers an exceptional gaming and entertainment experience in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The property features a 130,000-square-foot casino; AAA Four Diamond full-service luxury suite hotel with 400 well-appointed rooms, an indoor-outdoor pool, seven dining venues; 12 bars, an entertainment venue, a full-service luxury day spa, and a 20,000-square. The company lobbied the legislature to build a land-based casino in Gary with one of the riverboat permits, relinquish the other permit and then apply for a land-based casino license in Terre Haute.
